BLURT KNOWLEDGE BASE

How to vote and comment on Blurt

Step-by-step guide to vote strength, Posting authority, replies, network fees and common errors.

Votes and comments on Blurt are signed blockchain operations. Compatible frontends may look different, but the underlying actions are similar.

How do I vote on a post?

  1. Sign in through a trusted frontend with Posting authority or a compatible signing extension.
  2. Open the post and read it.
  3. Select the vote action and choose a strength if offered.
  4. Review the operation, approve the signature and wait for confirmation.

Example: a vote at 25% has less influence than a 100% vote, but it does not send 25% of your balance to the author. Influence also depends on Blurt Power and voting mana.

How do I reply?

  1. Open the comments section of the post.
  2. Write a useful reply and separate longer thoughts into paragraphs.
  3. Add an image only if it helps and you have the right to use it.
  4. Sign the comment with Posting authority and check the result after synchronization.

How do I reply to another comment?

Use the Reply control on that comment rather than the post-level editor. This keeps the discussion threaded.

Why is my comment or vote missing?

Frontends can lag behind RPC nodes or indexers. Check another trusted frontend before submitting duplicate operations. Verify that you can cover the current network fee.

Can voting earn rewards?

Curation can earn rewards under protocol rules, but no specific payout is guaranteed. Read about content and curation rewards →

Safety first
