Silvertop is moving right along with Liz’s laundry room remodel!😅
Today was “priming” the ceiling, and masking off the room to be ready to “Spray texture” the ceiling tomorrow!😊
It’s an interesting process my friends……….
When I started building and remodeling many years ago, I purchased a ceiling texturing “Spraying Mantis” gun and hopper.
It “Can” be very messy…… the secret is to prepare everything carefully ahead of time!
Over the years Silvertop has learned how to “Dial” in this sprayer, to produce professional results!😇
I opened up the box and read the “cheat sheet notes” I had written to myself for future spraying!☺️

One…… mix mud to the consistency of runny pancake batter, that easily falls off the mixing paddles!

Two…..set air compressor outlet to 70-75 PSI

Three…. Reduce sprayer trigger to 50% travel!

Four Have Fun!🤗

Everything is covered with plastic drop cloths, for tomorrow, with the exception of Silvertop Lol!😅
The splatter does go everywhere Lol!☺️
Next step after this is painting the textured ceiling, and then I begin the installation of “Wood Look” porcelain tile flooring,that you can see in the last photo!
“Liz…. I’m lighting the fire in the wood stove, and calling it a night!”😍
