Blurt.pl Gets a Fresh New Look! A Modern Design, More Content, and Easier Access to the Blurt Ecosystem

@khrom · 26.10.2026, 17:56

For quite some time, I had been planning a major redesign of Blurt.pl. Over the years, the website had gradually grown to include more information, tutorials, and links to various projects, but I felt it was missing a more consistent and organized structure. I wanted both newcomers discovering Blurt for the first time and experienced users who have been part of the network for years to find useful information quickly and easily.

I finally decided to give the website a proper overhaul. The results are now live, and today I'd like to show you what's changed. This update is not just about a fresh visual design — it's also an effort to organize and improve the Polish gateway to the entire Blurt ecosystem.

A Fresh Design — Cleaner, More Modern, and Still True to Blurt's Colors

The first thing you'll probably notice is the new appearance. I decided to go with a clean, light background, orange accents, easy-to-read cards, and large header graphics. Mountain landscapes are combined with visual elements representing connections within a decentralized network.

I've also redesigned the navigation. The most important sections, including About Blurt, Tutorials, Tools, Roadmap, Rankings, and Market, are now easily accessible from the main menu. A separate navigation bar provides quick access to community-related platforms such as Blurt.blog, BlurtForum, Discord, and video content.

My goal was to make the website look more modern, but above all, to make it easier to navigate. Less scattered information, more logically organized sections.

Tutorials — From Creating Your First Account to Publishing Content

One of the most important parts of the redesign is the improved tutorial and knowledge base.

New users can start with the basics: understanding what Blurt is, learning how to create an account, discovering the differences between account keys, and finding out how to use them securely.

From there, they can explore topics such as publishing posts, choosing tags, earning rewards, and selecting a frontend. Individual articles now feature clear headings and links to related topics, making it easier to continue learning.

This is an especially important part of the project for me. In decentralized social networks, even something as simple as creating an account can be less intuitive than on traditional social media platforms.

I want Blurt.pl to help newcomers get through those first steps without having to search through dozens of unrelated websites.

Tools and Projects in One Place

The dedicated Tools section brings together applications and services useful to people publishing content on the Blurt blockchain.

Among the available tools, you'll find Blurt Publisher, Crossposter, and Web2.Support, along with other projects connected to the ecosystem.

The idea isn't to replace all these independent applications with a single platform.

Quite the opposite: one of Blurt's greatest strengths is the freedom to choose between different independent services, and Blurt.pl is intended to make those services easier to discover.

More Space for the Community Itself

I didn't want the redesigned website to become just another collection of static information pages.

That's why community posts retrieved directly from the Blurt blockchain now play an important role.

Visitors can browse recent publications, open individual posts, and read their content in a layout adapted to Blurt.pl, with links to other articles.

I've also introduced a dedicated page for the latest comments.

This feature allows users to browse ongoing discussions, choose how many comments to display, filter replies, and load additional comments.

When revisiting the page, previously loaded results can be restored from the browser's local storage while additional data is fetched.

Latest Blurt comments

Another interesting addition is the way discussions can be opened.

When you click on a comment, you can choose which frontend you want to use — for example, Blurt.blog or BeBlurt.

There's also an option to visit BlurtForum to explore the original discussion, although it may not always lead directly to a specific reply.

It's a relatively small feature, but it reflects an idea that I really wanted to preserve:

Blurt.pl should connect different parts of the ecosystem rather than lock users into a single website.

Appreciator App Rankings and the Roadmap

I've also expanded sections that make it easier to follow selected activities and projects within the Blurt ecosystem.

The Appreciator App ranking displays posts featured and supported by the Appreciator App program.

It's important to clarify that this ranking uses data provided by Appreciator App rather than counting all votes across the Blurt blockchain.

Meanwhile, the Roadmap section now presents development stages in a much more readable timeline format, with milestones and descriptions of planned work.

This makes it easier to understand the development directions presented for the portal.

Making It Easier for New Users to Get Started

I've also reorganized the section dedicated to creating a Blurt account.

Several registration methods are now presented in one place, including an account creation tool, registration through Blurt Wallet, assistance from the community, and an email registration request form.

At the same time, I've made account security information more visible.

On Blurt, users are responsible for managing their own keys, so it's essential to store your Master Password and owner key securely and never share them with strangers or untrusted websites.

What's Next?

I see this update as another step in the ongoing development of Blurt.pl, not as a finished project.

My goal is to keep building a place where people can learn about the Blurt network, discover useful tools, explore community activity, and easily access other projects across the ecosystem.

I'd also like to continue expanding the knowledge base and improving the features that turn out to be most useful in everyday use.

Ultimately, I believe that decentralized networks benefit from having multiple independent websites, applications, and communities working together.

The more ways people have to access and interact with Blurt, the stronger and more accessible the entire ecosystem becomes.

And that's exactly the direction I'd like Blurt.pl to follow.

Take a look at the redesigned website: https://blurt.pl

I'd really love to hear your thoughts!

What do you think of the new design? Is there anything you'd like to see added or improved?

I'm especially interested in feedback from people who use Blurt regularly, but I'd also love to hear from newcomers who are just beginning to explore the network.

Let me know in the comments! 🙂
