I loved visiting Shaws corner on one of our glorious hot day, it was quite small but very cute. George Bernard Shaw lived here with his wife Charlotte from 1906 until his death in 1950.The Property, designed in the Arts and Crafts style retains many original personal items including his Nobel award certificate and Oscar as well as photos, clothes and even down to a set of false teeth. The guide told me so much about the house and showed my how even the clocks in the downstairs room he died in had been set to his time of death. You can also see his Writing Hut in the garden, which he nicknamed London, where Shaw wrote many of his major works. #shawscorner #georgebernardshaw #nationaltrust #hertfordshire
