Hello everyone! It's been a good while since I posted. BUT I HAVE RETURNED!!! Let me catch you up on a few things that happened.
- I turned 14 on Feb 28.
- I joined a new "Junior Chef" baking school!
I've already had two classes there so far, but in that time I was just trying to warm myself up to the new place and people. Now that everyone has loosened up, I can feel comfortable taking pictures without feeling stared at. 😅
First, we made the sauce; it was really simple. Only 6 ingredients!!
All you need is:
- 2 tomatoes
- 1g salt
- 30g olive oil
- 10 basil leaves
- 1g sugar
- a clove of garlic
Take the 2 tomatoes, remove the core & the seeds, and set them aside as you put the 30g olive oil into a pot at medium heat and let it warm up. When the oil has warmed, add the tomatoes. It might sizzle a bit, but that's what we want!
Mix thoroughly and let the tomatoes soften. Then add the leaves and the garlic, letting the tomatoes soak in the flavor.

Lastly, add the salt and sugar and transfer it into a blender; mix until smooth.
Bam! You've got your pizza sauce. Now let's make the dough!
The pizza dough is even simpler than the sauce! It's only 4 ingredients!
All you need is:
- 285g flour
- 200g water
- 2g yeast
- 2g salt
Pour the flour onto your countertop and make a little "volcano" with the flour.

Sprinkle the salt around the edges and add the yeast into the middle. SLOWLY add water while mixing the flour in with the water.
This is not a race; take your time. :)
Eventually, you will end up with a ball of pizza dough; congratulations! But we are not done yet; we still have a few more steps to do.
Knead the dough until it is softer and a little lighter in color.
When you are done, put the dough into a greased bowl and add plastic wrap. Set it in the sun for 20 - 30 mins. In the meantime, you can relax your arms from all that kneading 😂
After the timer rings, you put it into the fridge for at least 40-ish minutes; the longer, the better. My teacher says for the best results, you can put the pizza dough into the fridge overnight, but we know that you're an impatient little goblin, so 40 minutes will have to do. 😜
After you take your dough out of the fridge, shape your dough into a flat plane (like our plane-t haha) and add the sauce you made earlier; it might not seem like much, but too much sauce will make it soggy.
Then add
- 100g Chihuahua cheese
- 50g pepperoni
I'm assuming you don't have a pizza oven that can go up to 300 Celsius, so just put it in the oven at 180 Celsius for about 15 - 20 minutes
Voila! You have made yourself a good lookin' pizza!
I remember taking the first bite of my pizza and almost falling to my knees. I am not kidding! My classmates laughed at how I closed my eyes. I told them to try their own pizza; of course they liked it! Who wouldn't?

I hope you liked my post! See you next time!
