Adding text to, and finishing off, the Heckel's Horse Jr cards took a couple of days, but all are done now and awaiting video and scanning before being taken to the next Camden Market Free Art Man. The scans I'll be putting on Base were done before they were glued to the cardboard.
The forecast for this weekend says both Saturday and Sunday will be dry, so I should be at Camden both days. It's been raining so much in London recently, I'm considering going out on any dry day regardless of whether it's a weekend or not. Wednesday's forecast to be dry, so maybe a three dayer this week. Then when spring arrives, I'll publish a timetable saying I'll be at Camden every Saturday and Sunday 12-4 unless I'm sick or it's wet weather.
Each Heckel's Horse Jr card is numbered on the back in Sharpie pen with the history of Heckel's Horse Jr summed up in a couple of paragraphs below the wall hanging hole. The fronts have the QR code for the Heckel's Horse Jr page on my blog and a few other bits of information, like explaining that Heckel's Horse Jr, The Camden Market Free Art Man, Jompiy and Edgeworth Johnstone are all the same person. I want it to be as obvious as possible, at Camden, that I make all the art I'm giving away there. Having these aliases must cause some to think I'm giving out work by other people. In future I'd like to have a Black Ivory display on the other side of the road with work by Ron Throop @ronthroop , Emma Pugmire and myself, the three members of Black Ivory, and The Camden Market Free Art Man running opposite. It would need an extra person though.
The text on the front of the Heckel's Horse Jr cards also spells out that these are all original paintings, not prints.
So far, there are 236 Heckel's Horse Jr cards. It's just as well I came back from Thailand a month early as getting the paintings and drawings I did there glued to cardboard and covered in Advertism and PVA glue is taking a lot longer than I thought. Like today, an entire day doing just the backs of 22 A3 Heckel's Horse Jr paintings, the fronts of another 20 odd and some cutting out of Advertism in front of the TV. At least the cards are done though. I'll make similar ones for the Blurt day at Camden.
